Under 2's

Our youngest children live in the (NAME) Room. The light, airy setting invites discovery and introduces a wide range of activities and experiences, all of which are backed up by knowledgeable professionals. Children’s development and confidence are aided by low-level furniture and easily available supplies, as well as indoor and outdoor activities. Children can enjoy quiet time and sensory activities in a separate tiny and cosy area while exploring natural resources that are appropriate for their specific needs.

Our caterpillars will have plenty of opportunities to interact with and learn about their important person. They’ll be there to help with new activity discovery, like as painting, sand, water, and sensory play, with an emphasis on the Early Years Foundation stage’s key areas. There will be a combination of quiet periods when they share a book, independent eating times, time to converse, singing together and playing with new friends, and definitely messy times!

We encourage tummy time, parachute games, and dancing, as well as the development of fine motor skills through sensory play and creative activities. Caterpillars like spending time outdoors in our two gardens as well as visiting neighbouring parks.
