About
DNA Day Nursery
For children aged 3 months to 5 years, DNA Day Nursery provides a safe and interesting environment. For everyone’s enjoyment, our nursery includes three large, bright, purpose-built rooms that are outfitted to the greatest degree.
A Little About Us
The well-equipped rooms encourage children to participate in both adult-led and child-led learning activities. Children are provided with a diverse range of continuous provision, allowing them to make their own decisions about what they want to do throughout the day. Our highly qualified team follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, and each child has a key person who arranges a variety of activities based on their own interests, allowing them to learn in a unique way. Through regular contact about your kid’s care and development needs, the key person will get to know you and your child well. Children’s care routines at DNA Day Nursery are customised to their age group and are always addressed with you to ensure that unique requirements are satisfied. Follow the curriculum link at the bottom of the page for more information for parents about the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Parents can borrow developmental loan packs from the nursery, which are packed with information about various age groups, and staff are always there to answer any queries parents may have.
We encourage a variety of self-help abilities in the nursery, ranging from hand washing and self-feeding to self-serve meal times, cleaning up after snack time, and using paint mixing stations, among other things.
DNA Day Nursery promotes health in a variety of ways. We serve nutritious, home-cooked meals that are tailored to the nutritional needs of growing children. We also consume a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and just drink milk or water. All children are given the opportunity to wash their teeth at nursery after working closely with Stockport’s oral health advisor, and good hygiene is constantly emphasised.
